Construction: La compagnie Duchesneau & McComber
Program: Raising the parents’ bed to make room for a small infant. Design-build project.
Design solution created by L. McComber Architects for the owners of this 700 square foot loft in Montreal, Canada. This large “love bed” seems to float over a sleeping baby’s room. The imposing slab of fir plywood is molded to the sinuous curves of its tubular steel support. These one hundred fifty square feet are simply walking on air, gently illuminated by an opalescent storage wall and luminous bricks.

L’atelier de construction L. McComber is an incorporated company holder of a general contractor’s license issue by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec, This company is covered by a private commercial general liability insurance.
